Commercial Vehicle
Wrap Process
in Atlanta.
From the first vehicle photos to the final installation review, know what comes next. Car Wraps Atlanta by S2DM handles commercial wrap design, printing, and installation in-house at our Marietta shop.

Your vehicle.
Your brand.
A defined plan.
A commercial vehicle wrap project begins with your vehicle, branding, and desired coverage. We review the scope, prepare a quote, develop the design for approval, produce the graphics, and install them before a final review.
The same planning principles apply to vehicle lettering, partial wraps, full commercial wraps, and fleet graphics. The production steps and installation time depend on the package and vehicle.
Unsure how much coverage you need? Our vehicle branding guide compares the options before you request a quote.
Six steps to a branded vehicle.
Share your vehicle and business goals
Send the vehicle year, make, model, configuration, and clear photos of both sides and the rear. Tell us what your business does, which contact details belong on the vehicle, and whether you are branding one vehicle or a fleet.
Include your best logo files, preferred coverage, timing, and any existing graphics or surface damage. These details help us plan around windows, doors, handles, body lines, and accessories.
Define the scope and review your quote
We review the vehicle, coverage, artwork requirements, materials, and installation needs. Existing graphics removal and preparation can affect the scope, so discuss them before scheduling.
Confirm which panels are included and any exclusions. Roofs, bumpers, windows, and other areas should be addressed in the written scope rather than assumed. Your quote explains project costs and any deposit requirements.
Review the design and approve the proof
We develop the layout around your brand and actual vehicle. The proof shows how the logo, services, contact details, and graphic elements work together across the included views.
Check every word and number: business name, phone, website, services, and any vehicle-specific details. Review placement and coverage too. Production follows approval so the agreed design becomes the reference for the next stage.
Produce the graphics in-house
After design approval, we prepare the artwork for the selected materials and vehicle panels. Printed wraps are produced on professional large-format equipment using 3M or Avery vinyl, with appropriate protective laminate for the printed graphics.
Lettering and individual graphics follow the production steps suited to their materials and design. Panels and graphic elements are prepared for installation according to the approved project.
Prepare the vehicle and install
The vehicle’s surface condition matters. Old graphics, adhesive residue, rust, peeling paint, and failing clear coat need to be discussed before installation. Vinyl does not repair an unsuitable surface.
Installation is handled in-house, with indoor installation whenever possible. Graphics are positioned and applied around the vehicle’s panels, curves, seams, and hardware according to the project scope.
Final review, pickup, and care
After installation, the vehicle is reviewed for overall appearance, edges, alignment, and presentation before pickup. Review the finished project with the team and ask any questions about the graphics.
Follow the care instructions supplied for your materials. Cleaning methods, storage, exposure, and daily use affect how graphics wear. Review our limited warranty information for coverage and exclusions.
A smoother drop-off starts here.
Show the existing condition
Send close-up photos of old graphics, paint damage, rust, repairs, and accessories. Tell us about repainted panels and previous wrap removal so the condition can be considered.
Follow cleaning instructions
Ask for the preparation instructions for your appointment. Arrive with the vehicle free of heavy dirt and road grime, and avoid wax or oily products that can affect the installation surface.
Plan vehicle availability
Confirm the drop-off, installation window, and pickup arrangement with the shop. Arrange transportation and work schedules around the agreed appointment.
Coordinate the rollout.
Keep the brand consistent.
For multiple vehicles, start with a fleet list: year, make, model, configuration, existing graphics, and your scheduling priorities. Different vans, trucks, and trailers require layouts adapted to their own surfaces.
Agree on a consistent logo, colors, key message, and contact details. Identify any location-specific information or vehicle numbers before approving the proofs.
Discuss a staged installation plan around your operations. Timing depends on vehicle availability, artwork approval, production, removal work, and installation complexity. Confirm the schedule for your project rather than relying on a fixed turnaround estimate.
Plan Your Fleet Graphics ↗What can affect
the schedule?
Artwork readiness, design revisions, coverage, vehicle size, material requirements, and existing graphics removal all affect the work involved. Surface issues discovered during review may need attention before installation.
Complete vehicle information and consolidated proof feedback help the project move forward. Tell us about deadlines early, and confirm availability with the team before making launch or vehicle-use commitments.
From our shop at 1225 Canton Rd, Suite 102, Marietta, GA 30066, we serve Atlanta, Cobb County, Marietta, Smyrna, Acworth, Woodstock, Canton, Roswell, and Alpharetta.

Are design, printing, and installation handled in-house?
Yes. Car Wraps Atlanta by S2DM handles design, printing, and installation in-house at our Marietta shop, serving commercial vehicle and fleet customers across Metro Atlanta.
What should I send to request a quote?
Send the vehicle year, make, model, configuration, and photos of each side and the rear, along with your logo, preferred coverage, quantity, and timing. Include photos of existing graphics and surface damage.
Will I see the design before you print it?
Yes. A design proof lets you review the layout, coverage, text, and contact details before production. Check all information carefully and provide approval after the design is finalized.
What if my logo is only a small image?
Send the best file you have for review. Vector artwork such as AI, EPS, SVG, or a PDF containing vector graphics is preferred. A small image may require recreation before it can be used at vehicle size.
How long does the commercial wrap process take?
The full timeline depends on scope, artwork, approvals, production, vehicle availability, and installation needs. Confirm both the overall project schedule and the time your vehicle will be at the shop.
Can you remove my old vehicle graphics first?
Existing graphics removal can be reviewed as part of the project and is usually quoted separately. Time and results depend on the vinyl, adhesive, age, exposure, and paint condition. Send photos before scheduling.
Can fleet vehicles be scheduled in stages?
Discuss your vehicle list and operating needs with the team so a staged rollout can be planned. Each vehicle’s configuration, scope, and availability affect the schedule.
How do I care for the graphics after installation?
Follow the care instructions provided for your materials. Gentle washing, avoiding abrasive brushes and harsh chemicals, and keeping pressure washing away from edges and seams help maintain the graphics. Contact the shop if you notice damage or lifting.
